Classes
Each classroom is spacious and well-equipped for the specific needs of the particular age group.
The walls of the classrooms are painted in pastel shades which provide a calming, homely and comforting atmosphere. We start each year with mostly empty walls, which then fill up with pictures and apparatus as the year progresses. We are proud of our neat and clean classrooms, which serve to create in our children respect for property which is not their own, and pride in their school.
Our Grade R class (5-6 years) is named the Ladybird Class.
Our Grade RR class (4-5 years) is named the Dragonfly Class.
Our Grade RRR class (3-4 years) is named the Butterfly Class.
Our Toddler class (1-2 years) is named the Bee Class.
Sick Room
Any child who is not feeling well, goes to the Sick Room, where he/she is attended to by a teacher trained in First Aid and CPR. This becomes the pick-up point for Parents who are contacted to fetch their children to prevent the spreading of contagious illnesses.
Children’s Bathroom
Here we place high emphasis on hygiene and cleanliness. Special care is taken to ensure that the bathroom and kitchen is spotless at all times. In the bathroom especially, children are taught personal hygiene and respect for their peers.
Outside Playground
Our fun and safe playground is spacious with a large beautiful lawn and big shade-giving trees. There are ample well-maintained wooden and steel structures to allow for the development of muscle tone, as well as plenty of apparatus which are put out on the lawn on a rotation basis and which serves to develop different skills, such as balance, eye hand/foot co-ordination, spatial orientation and laterality, to mention a few.
Garden
One corner of our playground was developed into a small beautiful garden where our parents can sit quietly and relax before taking their children home. Through this garden, we also aim to install in our children a respect for nature and an appreciation for the aesthetic.

Aftercare
The school offers an Aftercare facility on the school premises for those parents who need care for their children after school, from Mondays through Fridays till 17:00, and it is open during school holidays from 6:30 till 17:00. After school children receive a light lunch and an afternoon snack. We put emphasis on free outside play during the afternoon, as we firmly believe that children must have as much opportunity as possible for the development of their large muscles.
